Alana Miller-Clayton, PhD, ABPP is a licensed psychologist and board certified in the area of clinical psychology. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Georgia State University and completed both her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Miller-Clayton values working with a wide variety of diverse clients from preadolescence to all adult ages. She has experience in helping clients who present with issues related to stress, ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, relational challenges, diversity issues, severe mental illness, and parenting difficulties. She enjoys working with people whether individually, as a family/couple, or in a group. Dr. Miller-Clayton utilizes a variety of therapy techniques to best meet client needs including but not limited to cognitive behavioral, EMDR, mindfulness, family systems, and interpersonal therapy approaches. As a result she strives to help individuals approach treatment in a manner that is consistent with where they are and who they are. Dr. Miller-Clayton is also skilled in the areas of psychological assessment and has training and experience conducting assessments in a variety of environments including inpatient and outpatient medical facilities and academic environments. Dr. Miller-Clayton was raised in the metro-Atlanta area and graduated from The Lovett School. She received her bachelor of science from Northwestern University. |
